Ricoh enhances IT Services to meet growing customer demands across EMEA

London/Wallisellen, 12 April 2018 – Ricoh has revised its IT Services offering across EMEA through the launch of an enhanced set of services and solutions for national and international organisations.
Ricoh’s transformed IT Services portfolio is built around three pillars. This includes ‘Workplace & Mobility’ for driving end-user productivity and agility, ‘Data Centre & Infrastructure’ for transforming and managing business critical IT, and ‘Information Management & Business Intelligence’ for making sense of data to drive business decisions.

The new three pillar approach will be evident in Ricoh’s sales, customer relationship and support processes moving forward. All services offered, from design through to implementation, can be accessed via the most relevant pillar.

In addition to a traditional on-premise infrastructure the new portfolio also includes the Ricoh Cloud Service Management offering; designed to support customers with public and hybrid cloud solutions. These services are based on industry-leading technologies and include robust security standards.

Alberto Mariani, Director of IT Services EMEA, Ricoh Europe, says: “At its core the Ricoh IT Services portfolio is based on the evolving needs of our customers. What sets our services aside from competitors’ is that we can offer global scale and reach whilst maintaining a personal and agile service through our local service centres. As part of our mission to empower digital workplaces we’ve seen the growing extent at which businesses are being tasked to work smarter and improve operational efficiency. From small business to multinational, our IT Services are designed to help businesses make best use of the resources available to them.”

Mariani adds: “IT Services isn’t a new space for Ricoh, we’ve been supporting and transforming workplace and datacentre IT infrastructures for many years, achieving $2.2bn revenue and employing 11,000 dedicated staff globally. Enhancing our IT Services is the next logical step in our evolution. It’s also a new way to drive customer value while helping people make their businesses faster, smarter and more secure.”

To underpin the ‘Data Centre & Infrastructure’ pillar Ricoh opened a dedicated Service Operations Centre in Warsaw in October 2017 to provide industry leading managed services and support. This includes proactive monitoring, security and management to protect customers’ business critical infrastructure 24/7.
